CES: Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 Notebook – 3D For People With Glasses

Last night at the Lenovo Bloggers night event here at CES 2010 I had a quick hands on with the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 Multimedia Notebook which will be available in February. The demo featured a 3D demonstration of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 which looked beautiful; but that’s not what got me really excited.

Sitting on the counter was the following pair of glasses that made me think someone at the party had lost their 1990’s clip on sunglasses — but they were actually clip on 3D glasses to make it easier for people with glasses to enjoy 3D!

Little touches like this are really cool and I watched Xavier play through the first mission and was a little slack jawed by how cool 3D gaming is in an FPS like Call of Duty.
