Brad Linder from Liliputing always seems to find the most interesting devices and at CES it’s no different. He tipped us off to the new Asus Eee PC 1201NL which is similar to the Eee PC 1201N on the outside but the “L” looses something that sets it apart form other Eee PC netbooks — The Operating System.
The 1201NL will ship without any Operating System, which Liliputing reports will shave $20-$30 off of the final price, and will use a quickboot environment which provides driver support for Windows XP or Linux.
