Dell Inspiron Z Series Coming Soon

Gizmodo’s posted a photo gallery of Dell’s upcoming Inspiron Z series of notebooks, which will most likely be announced just before Windows 7 becomes available in October. The Dell Inspiron Z series consists of the 11z, 14z and 15z, with the numerals referring to screen size. The 11z will likely have an 11.6-inch display, which is just slightly smaller than the 12.1-inch display the recently retired Dell Inspiron Mini 12 has.

Dell’s Inspiron Z series will use Intel ULV (ultra low voltage) processors to extend battery life and minimize heat. From the looks of things, these computers aren’t going to be incredibly thin, but they will be easier to handle than the standard Inspiron notebooks.
