Lenovo G550 Introduced for Basic Business Users

Lenovo announced the G550 notebook today. This is a pretty basic notebook designed for business users and will start at $599. The Lenovo G550 has a 15.6″ display, Intel processors, up to 4GB of RAM and up to a 320GB hard drive.

The Lenovo G550 will come with either a brushed silver finish or a glossy slate finish. One thing that I like about this notebooks is that it has a dedicated numeric keypad, which is especially useful for users that have to punch a lot of numbers into spreadsheets.

There will be several graphics options, including NVIDIA GeForce F105M graphics with 512MB of RAM. The included six-cell battery runs for up to five hours on standard integrated Intel graphcs or 2.5hours on the optional batteries.

The Lenovo G550 can be configured with Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium or Vista Business.
