Give One Get One OLPC, Get Free Year of T-Mobile HotSpot

T-Mobile OLPCT-Mobile is sweetening the deal for people who participate in the One Laptop Per Child Foundation’s Give One Get one program. Those who donate $399 will receive a laptop and one year of complimentary service T-Mobile HotSpot access.

“T-Mobile believes in helping people stay connected to those who matter most in their lives. The Give One Get One program delivers on our unmistakable commitment to enhancing personal relationships,” said Joe Sims, vice president and general manager for Broadband Services, T-Mobile USA. “We are excited and proud to partner with One Laptop per Child, and are hopeful that our contribution will not only encourage other people to participate, but also make a positive difference.”

The Give One Get One campaign will run from Nov. 12 to Nov. 26, 2007. Half of the $399 donation will cover the cost of sending a laptop to a child in a developing nation.

T-Mobile’s HotSpot service normally costs $360 per year.
