Future MacBook Pros Getting Wide Multi-Touch Touchpad?
Apple details an innovative multi-touch touchpad in a recent patent application. This new design could bring iPhone-like gestures and more to future MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
The touchpad extends the entire width of the keyboard, making use of the palm rest area. Users could manipulate images, documents and more by pinching, tapping and dragging. Sensors are able to tell if you’re typing on the keyboard and deactivate the extended touchpad to avoid accidental gestures.
