Dell Notebooks Coming to Sam’s Club

Dell InspironDell’s partnered with Wal-Mart to sell notebooks at retail for the first time. In the coming days, more than 580 Sam’s Club locations will start carrying an AMD-powered Dell E1501 notebook for $899. Dell and Wal-Mart plan on rolling out another notebook at more than 3,000 Wal-Mart locations in time for the back to school season.

The Dell E1501 notebook being sold at Sam’s Club will have 2GB of memory, a 120GB of memory, DVD +/- RW, and Windows Vista Home Premium.
