Girl Scores MacBook Pro by Selling Ads on Lid

MacBook Pro Laser Etched

A broke computer engineer bought a new MacBook Pro by selling laser-etched ads on the notebook’s lid for $150 per square inch. She sold out all the available space and had more than enough cash to pay for a 15.4” MacBook Pro with a 200GB drive and 3GB of memory. Some are saying this is the first laptop paid for by advertising. Her site has some cool video and pics of the laser-etching process.
