Compaq v5303nr for $399 at Staples
Staples is getting in on the sub-$400 notebook action with the Compaq Presario v5303nr. Staples is the latest retailer to blow out a Compaq v5000 series notebook for the holidays. The v5303nr is powered by an AMD Turion 64 Mobile processor, which is more robust than the AMD Sempron processors in most v5000 models. It comes with a CD-RW/DVD drive, 512MB of memory and 60GB hard drive. The v5303nr will be available on Black Friday for $399 with no rebates. Staples is also throwing in a free HP printer with the v5303nr (after $70 rebate).
