This reminded me of a really dumb MSN idea was playing with a few years ago. The iLoo, a WiFi enabled porta-potty complete with a wireless waterproof keyboard you could use on your lap. All this, just in case you wanted to check your hotmail during a concert, while doing your business in the sweltering heat and smelling…well you get the picture. No this is not a joke; the Microsoft geniuses actually thought this kind of computer would win over the young and hip crowd and drive MSN sign ups. MSN was even negotiating with toilet paper manufacturers to imprint URLs on each sheet of paper. Guess this is the sort of thinking that’s forced Hotmail down the tubes…

Maybe Microsoft and Intel could team up on a web-enabled stall door for office buildings and dorms.
