AT&T Pushes iPhone 4 In-Store Sales Back to June 29

AT&T just announced that it will not be selling iPhone 4s at its thousands of retail stores on June 24th. Instead, iPhone shoppes will have to wait until at least June 29th if they want to buy an iPhone in person from AT&T.

Normally, aside from pre-ordered devices, there are a few extras that are available for walk-ins to purchase. In the past, people have camped outside of Apple and AT&T stores overnight for a chance to buy the new iPhone. We may still see people camping overnight, but it might start a little later than expected. There is no word if the same can be said for Apple Stores.

On the other hand, for those of you lucky enough to pre-order your iPhone 4 before the servers went into disarray, your iPhone will be shipping this week. There are even reports coming in from people saying they received an email telling them their iPhone 4 was arriving on June 23, one day prior to the original estimated date of arrival.

If you didn’t pre-order, and don’t have time to camp outside of an AT&T store on June 29th, you will be able to pre-order an iPhone 4 later in July, here.
