Acer Aspire One New Netbooks Official with Pricing

Last month we brought you news of Acer’s new line of Aspire One netbooks with HD displays and AMD processors. Now they are official with prices that look pretty good.

The most expensive in this new lineup is the Acer Aspire One 721, which is just $429.99. It is an 11.6-inch netbook with an AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor. It also has an ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics chip powering its 720p HD display with a resolution of 1366×768.

The Acer Aspire One 521 is $349.99. You get a more traditional 10-inch netbook with the same processor and graphics chip. The 521 only boasts a 1024×600 resolution display making it technically not an HD system.

For more details on these new netbooks, see the previous announcement from May.

Acer is also releasing some Intel based netbooks. The Acer Aspire One D260 will be just $298. The 533 is a little more at $330.

The Acer Aspire One 260 has a 10.1-inch screen with a 1024×600 resolution and also has Intel GMA 3150 graphics. The processor is an Intel Atom N450 running at 1.66GHz or an optional N455. There is also 1GB of memory and 250 GB of hard drive space. What is really interesting about the D260 is the option to have Google Android and Windows 7 included in a dual boot environment.

The D260 is also a 10.1 inch netbook with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 Processor and 1024×600 resolution. It promises up to 10 hours of battery life.
