IdeaPad S10 Demo (video)
Lenovo’s IdeaPad S10 was on display at the Intel Developer’s Forum in San Francisco today and we got a full demo. The S10 is well built and has a lot of features not found on other netbooks in its price range. The IdeaPad S10 is now available for order from $429.

Dolby PC Entertainment Expereince for ‘Home Theater’ Notebooks
Dolby’s updated its PC Entertainment Experience program to help users get more out of their notebook’s speakers and audio jacks. Audio performance is something that’s pretty low on many notebook users’ wish lists, but Dolby’s trying to change that. I visited Dolby’s headquarters to talk to Keith Kowal about the new technology.
ModBook Demo

Lapworks Attache and Envoy Notebook Stand Demo (video)
LapWorks announced the Attache and Envoy notebook stands, complete with dual fans and a 4-port USB hub. The two stands are similar, except the Attache has an aluminum skin to help dissipate heat.
ZPower Silver-Zinc Batteries
Lithium-ion notebook batteries will be a thing of the past if the guys at ZPower have their way. ZPower is developing silver-zinc batteries for notebooks that pack 40% more energy than similarly sized lithium-ion batteries and are easier on the environment.
MacBook Air Ad
Here’s the first MacBook Air ad, with the tagline “the world’s thinnest notebook.” The commercial shows how the MacBook Air can fit inside an inter-office envelope, but doesn’t show a single other feature.
