Wireless USB Demo (video)
Here’s a demo of Wireless USB from Staccato Communications. In this demo, a photo is taken of me and it instantly appears on a Dell notebook, equipped with Wireless USB. It is then sent to a printer wireless and just a few seconds after my photo is snapped I have a print.
HP Pavilion HDX Updated With Blu-ray Disc Drive (video, specs)
HP’s updated the HDX with improved specs and an optional Blu-ray disc drive. This updated 20.1-inch notebook starts at less than $1,999, but extras can push the price tag to more than $4,500. Check out the following video of the new HDX.
Laptop Guitar Modification
Stuffing an old laptop inside a guitar seems seems like a perfectly good way to give old tech new life. This guitar uses the laptop’s display as a visualizer.
New Zune TV Commercial “Academy of Dreams”
Here’s another new Zune Commercial from Microsoft, where an actor wanders around in a fantasy world. The ad is obviously high-budget and creative, but I think Microsoft should focus on getting people to understand how it’s different from the iPod.
iPod Commercial Parody
Here’s a funny parody of Apple’s latest iPod nano TV commercial. This Mad TV clip pokes fun at Apple and how your iPod seems obsolete the just after you get it.

Here’s a long video demo of the new Zune’s interface. No touchscreen like the iPod Touch or iPhone, but the Zune pad looks easy enough to use.
Google’s Android Video Demo
Here’s a first look at Adroid, Google’s new mobile operating system. The Google execs show off two gPhone prototypes running Android. The rich graphical geatures are demoed on an iPhone-like touchscreen phone.
Microsoft Zune 2 TV Ads Explain Nothing
Micorosft sure doesn’t tell us much about the new Zune 2 one of its new TV ads. Instead, the company just shows an actress taking an Alice in Wonderland-esque trip where she dances with pink rabbits and swims with a giant jelly fish will. I’m glad Microsoft’s putting some marketing muscle behind the Zune 2, but this TV ad really misses the mark.
