Toshiba Shipping first Notebooks with HD DVD-R

Qosmio G45Toshiba’s now shipping the Qosmio G45-AV680 multimedia notebook, the first notebook featuring an HD DVD-R drive. The HD DVD-R drive can burn up to 30GB of data onto a single disc. Users will be able to watch HD content at at full 1080p resolution.

Toshiba Adds Qosmio F45 AV Configurations

Toshiba Qosmio F45 AV Toshiba expanded its line of Qosmio F45 AV entertainment notebooks with three configurations today. The new configurations feature Dolby Home Theater technology, Intel Turbo Memory and a DVD SuperMulti drive with Labelflash. Users can chose between a single 200GB or dual 120GB hard drives.

Toshiba Notebooks get HD DVD and Dolby Surround

Toshiba HD DVDToshiba announced several entertainment upgrades to its Satellite and Qosmio notebooks. The Satellite P205, Satellite and Qosmio F45 will get HD DVD readers, while the Qosmio G45 will be the first notebook available in the U.S. with a HD DVD burner. Qosmio and Satellite X205 notebooks will include Dolby Home Theater, while the Satellite U305, Satellite A215, Satellite A205, Satellite P205, and Satellite M205 will feature Dolby Sound Room technology.
