AMD, HP, and MTV reached out to the community and asked them for their art-inspired designs and received almost 17,000 entries. I grabbed on video the top designs from 4 different continents. I wish I were this creative.

ThinkPad Reserve Now Just $3,000 after $2,000 Price Drop

Apparently there’s not that much demand for Lenovo’s ThinkPad Reserve, the leather-bound X Series ThinkPad with a limited production run of only 5,000 units. Earlier this year the ThinkPad Reserve got a fancy web site and Lenovo promised three years of 24/7 support for the princely sum of $5,000. But if you’re willing to forgo the ‘Executive-class service’ you can pick one up for the bargain basement price of $3,000.

Sony VAIOs Benefit Breast Cancer Research

Sony’s selling a pink notebook, pink Walkman and pink portable DVD player to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sony will donate $75 to the foundation for each pink VAIO VGN-CR290EAP it sells through the end of the month.

Sony announced the VAIO NR series notebook for consumers. The VAIO NR series is the cheapest Sony VAIO notebook to date, starting at $750. The 15.4-inch widescreen notebook is available in brown, bright white and granite.
