LaptopMag Pegs HP Mini 110 Best Consumer HP Netbook To Date

LaptopMag.com did a full review of the new Mini 110 and found that HP seems to have addressed some of the issues lacking in the Mini 1000 but not without compromise. The Mini 110 has a VGA port, matte antiglare screen, and three USB ports. But it’s slightly thicker and heavier than HP’s first consumer netbook.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Vivienne Tam and a group of female bloggers in New York during fashion week. On Wednesday night we went to Vivienne Tam’s fall season preview at her boutique in SoHo. The Peony flower was her inspiration for her entire spring line, which extended all the way from her dresses to the Mini 1000 special edition that I’m blogging from this week.

I’m a big fan of the HP Mini 1000 and it earned our first Editor’s Choice award, but the quality of its built-in webcam is a weak point. The Mini 2140 has a similarly spec’d webcam, but it delivers a dramatically better image than the one found in the Mini 1000.
