HP Announces AMD Powered Notebooks for Biz

HP announced two new business notebooks today at a presentation called The Art of Small Business. The Compaq 6715B and 6515B are the first HP Business notebooks since the launch of Microsoft’s Vista. The new line of business notebooks are exclusively widescreen.

First AMD Powered Dell Notebook Starts at $549

The first AMD powered Dell notebooks are now available on Dell’s website. The budget Dell Inspiron 1501 is a 15.4-inch notebook which comes with a choice of three AMD CPU’s. The 1501 is a cheaper alternative to the Intel powered Inspiron e1505, which starts at $699.
