The MacBook Air designers had to sacrifice a lot of ports and an optical drive so Apple could claim the title of ‘world’s thinnest notebook.’ Lenovo pokes some fun at the MacBook Air in this video and shows that an X300, the thinnest ThinkPad, can fit inside a manila envelope too.
XPS M1530 and M1330 Now in Pink
Dell’s XPS M1530 and M1330 notebooks are now available in Pink. XPS notebooks are sold in black in the base configuration, with the pink option offered as a $25 upgrade.
Toshiba Notebooks Get Face Recognition
Toshiba just sent me an email pointing out that its latest Satellite notebooks feature Face Recognition. This means users can automatically login just by sitting in front of their notebooks.
