Vcommunicator The Vcommunicator Mobile is a tactical langage and cultural knowledge mission aid for the military. The U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division has 160 iPods loaded with Iraqi-Arabic and Kurdish phrases, videos and text to help them communicate more effectively.

Microsoft Launches New Zunes, DRM-free Marketplace

Zune 80GB Microsoft officially announced three new Zunes, including the 80GB Zune ($249), 4GB flash Zune ($149) and 8GB flash Zune ($199). The flash Zunes are available in pink, green, black and red. All of the new zunes have a touch-sensitive navigation button and play video.

iPod Touch, new Nanos, Shuffle and iPod ‘Classic’ Announced

iPod Nano Apple revamped its entire line of iPods today. The company announced the iPod Touch, an iPhone minus the phone, and updated the Nano, Shuffle and iPod Video. The iPod Touch features the same touchscreen as the iPhone and WiFi for web browsing and purchasing songs wirelessly. All of the iPods, except for the Shuffle, have an extensively redesigned interface.

Steve Jobs at All Things Digital
