The Dell Latitude E5410 and Latitude E5510 Notebooks were announced today as part of updates to the Dell LAtitude E-Family line of notebooks which include the ultra-portable Dell Latitude E4310 and the Dell Latitude 2110 Netbook.
The 14.1″ Dell Latitude E5410 and the 15.6″ Dell Latitude E5510 notebooks are powered by the new Intel Core i processors, with the option for a low power Celeron, and are designed to be a durable notebook for business and education users. In addition to being tested speficially for durability, these notebooks feature reinforced hinges and displays for durability without added bulk.
Another great future for business users is the built in data protection which comes in the form of a fast response free-fall sensor that locks down the hard drive and Dell StrikeZone shock absorbers which protect the hard drive when the notebook lands!

The Latitude E5410 and E5510 come with many connectivity options, including a mobile broadband connection in the 14″ E5410 and offer long many battery options to keep users powered up on the road. Both notebooks feature a gesture enabled touchpad and come with the option of an anti-microbial keyboard for a clean typing experience in shared computing environments. These notebook also offer instant on access to PIM information such as email and calendar entries.
These two notebooks are designed with a 15 month targeted lifecycle and are compatible with most of the same E-Family accessories such as docks, batteries and chargers.
