Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t Now Shipping with Intel Atom N470 1.83 GHz Processor
Short Version:
The IdeaPad S10-3t is now available with the faster Intel Atom N470 processor.
It was just last week that most netbooks arriving in customers hands were sporting the new Intel Atom N450 processor which provides better power and battery life than the Intel Atom N270 and N280 processors that were found in netbooks sold last year and already a new processor is available.
The Intel Atom N470 processor is faster than the N450, 1.83 GHz compared to 1.66 GHz, and isn’t available in many netbooks to date, but the new Lenovo convertible netbook tablet, the IdeaPad S10-3t, can be purchased with the Intel Atom N470 processor and is available for shipping in just 9 days.
The N470 equipped version of the IdeaPad S10-3t doesn’t just sport a faster processor; it also has 2 GB of RAM as opposed to the standard 1GB for netbooks and ships with Windows 7 Premium and a larger hard drive than the standard IdeaPad S10-3t models. It starts at $649 before any customizations and from the looks of it the $100 upgrade is a worthwhile considering everything you get.
