CES: Dueling Cell Phone Projectors at DLP
Also at the Digital Experience we caught up with the TI-DLP group who showed off two cell-phone projectors that may someday replace the need for you to take a notebook to a small meeting as well as several notebook companion projectors from Dell and HP.
You’re already familiar with the Cell Phone projector from LG thanks to the commercial where a gentleman shows off the trailer for Avatar in is breakroom; and we also had a look at a Samsung projector which is built right into the phone and projects out the top of the device.
The Samsung cell phone with built in projector is a second generation device and noticeably slimmer than the one shown off at CES 2009. Thanks to a slimmed down form factor and a few more curves the new model fit much better in your hand and pocket.
