How to kill a MacBook, airport style
Short Version:
Those who are afraid to see a Macbook with bullet holes, please avert your eyes.
I didn’t believe it until I saw the photos up on Engadget. A couple of border security guards didn’t like the answers a young American traveler had during her travels through Jerusalem.
According to the article, “Overzealous border security officers ask her a bunch of questions, take issue with her answers, and a few well-placed bullets later she is allowed entry into the country with a somewhat altered MacBook in tow….The young lady in question has been promised compensation..”
What I want to know is if this laptop is under warranty? What would the folks at the Genius bar say? And did she have good Time Machine backups of all her files?
