Best Buy’s Black Friday deals have been leaked. One item on the list of deals that’s sure to be very popular the day after Thanksgiving is the Apple MacBook.
Those who buy an Apple MacBook for $999.99 will receive a free $150 gift card, which effectively brings the price down to $849.99.

The MacBook in Best Buy’s Black Friday ad is the deal I like the most. The MacBook has a 13.3” display, 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of memory and a 250 GB hard drive This MacBook’s new seamless, more durable unibody enclosure with rounded contours makes it easy to pick up and slide into and out of your bag. And it’s made of rugged polycarbonate that withstands the rough and tumble of everyday life – at school, at work or while traveling. It comes pre-loaded with Apple’s Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system and iLife 09, a suite of applications for organizing and editing video, music and photos.

Update: According to Best Buy’s Black Friday Ad there will be a minimum of three MacBooks at with this deal per store. Some Best Buy stores that sell computers at a higher volume will have more than the minimum on Black Friday. Regardless of the actual number available, you should expect to get to your local Best Buy several hours ahead of time on Black Friday if you hope to take advantage of this deal.

Microcenter is offering the Macbook for $999 with a $200 VISA card rebate Nov 2 through Dec 6!

You still have to spend $999. The $150 is only for store credit. This by no means is equivalent to $849.

If you check the Best Buy ad more carefully the fine print says only THREE PER STORE... SO you'd better be waiting or camping out very early to get THIS deal. LAME.
