For the most part I agree with your assessment, it is much cheaper to buy the base configuration 311 Mini from Verizon if you are willing to swallow the two-year agreement.  However, many users will want to customize it by adding memory, a larger hard drive, and a faster processor like the N280.  At present, I don&#039;t believe Verizon offers any upgrade options for the 311 like HP.  I&#039;m going to visit a Verizon store next week to check on this.  With a few added features the 311 could become my everyday laptop.  Barry</description>
