iPhone 3Gs Pre-Ordering Live
Apple customers can pre-order the iPhone 3Gs directly from Apple for June 19 delivery. Apple retail stores and AT&T Wireless stores will begin selling the new iPhone 3Gs on June 19.
Pre-ordering directly from Apple will avoid long lines and hassles associated with buying from retail locations.
AT&T customers that are eligible will be able to purchase an iPhone 3Gs for $199 (16GB) or $299 (32GB). Current iPhone users must wait for 2-years after their original purchase to qualify for these prices. Those that have been in contract for less than two years must pay an additional $200 to upgrade.
AT&T Customers that are not eligible for an upgrade and who have never bought an iPhone will have to pay $499 for an iPhone 3G, $599 for a 16GB iPhone 3Gs and $699 for a 32GB iPhone 3Gs.
