TG deal at $629 includes a 2 year warranty - that's an extra year for only $30! I had already bought one and received it two days before I saw the new deal. They made me return the first one and order the new one to get the 2-yr warranty. Unbelievable! Imagine how much that cost tthem rather than just extending my warranty. They claimed Lenovo would only do it that way. C'est la vie.

They have it back in stock now although it only has the $150 rebate now so it's on sale for $629.99 instead of $599. Still a great deal.
  • Manshru, thx for the tip, but it looks like that deal's no longer good. Also, it looks like TigerDirect has sold out of the Lenovo 3000 Y410

I bought at shop.com which indirectly places order with TigerDIrect. What is so cool is that if you sign up at shop.com, as a first order you get 10% off (promo code GET10BACK), which means you save $75.
    Mine cost: 599$ + 29$ s&h - 75% discount = $555/-

I got mine at an Office Depot in florida on saturday for the same price. I was just going to check out what was available and not intending to purchase anything, but the deal was too good to pass up. My local store was sold out; but the staff offered to call other stores to see if any were still available. I had to go drive a bit, but I got everything I wanted in a laptop (and more), for much less than I thought I would have to pay. I've had it less than 24hrs so it's too early to give a proper review. So far? I'm on it now and it doesn't suck.

This is great! Totally improved the awful day with Staples selling out before 6am and then trying to get the Y410 only to find out every Office Depot in So Cal is sold out.
