Sony VAIO CR220It looks like Office Depot’s getting a jump on Black Friday sales, making most of its Black Friday notebooks available today.

In an ad circular published Sunday, Office Depot advertised 13 laptops which are discounted by $150 to $300 dollars.

Office Depot is offering the Sony VAIO CR220 for $999.99 ($300 discount). It includes an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, 14.1-inch display, 200GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM, DVD burner, Vista Home Premium and a webcam. It’s available in green, pink, blue, red and gold.

The cheapest pre-Black Friday laptop Office Depot is selling is the Toshiba L45-S7409m which comes with an Intel T2310 Intel Core Duo processor, 1GB of memory, 80GB hard drive and DVD burner.

Those looking for a 17-inch notebook at Office Depot should take a look at the Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7436, which is $599.99, a $200 discount. The P205D-S7436 has n AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core TK-53 processor, 120GB hard drive and DVD burner. It doesn’t have powerful specs, as found in many other 17-inch notebooks, but a good value for those that really want a large display.

I bought one - it’s slow as can be - looking for more ram - see if that helps. Otherwise it’s a really decent machine for the price. I am just a really demanding customer (as far as computer resources go)
