Pedal Powered Laptop
Some of those smart kids from MIT have customized a stationary bike to recharge a notebook with human power. Looks like a good way to burn some extra calories for those of us who spend 8+ hours a day sitting in front of a computer. It started as a Civil Environmental Engineering Design class project and will be moved into the school’s gym for some real-world use.
Pedaling on the bike can generate up to 75w, more than enough for to power up most computers.
