Fujitsu LifeBook S7211 Introduced
Fujitsu introduced the LifeBook S7211, a moderately priced notebook for small and medium-size businesses. Starting at $899, the LifeBook S7211 features a 14.1-inch widescreen display, modular drive bay and spill resistant keyboard.
The modular bay can accomodate an optical drive, second battery or a weight saver. The LifeBook S7211 can run for up to 6.5 hours when using dual batteries.
The Lifebook 7211 is available in two configurations. The base model comes with an Intel Core Duo processor (1.6MHz, 1MB l2Cache, 533MHz FSB), 1 GB of memory, integrated webcam, 120GB hard drive and DVD/CD-RW drive.
For $1,099 you get a faster Intel Core 2 Duo processor (1.5GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 667MHz FSB), Bluetooth and a DVD burner.
The Fujitsu Lifebook S7211 comes with either Windows XP Pro or Windows Vista Business.
