Sony VAIOs Benefit Breast Cancer Research
Sony’s selling a pink notebook, pink Walkman and pink portable DVD player to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sony will donate $75 to the foundation for each pink VAIO VGN-CR290EAP it sells through the end of the month.
The VAIO VGN-CR290EAP starts at $1,370 and includes a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 200GB had drive and DVD burner. If pink is your color and you’re in need of a new notebook, you might as well support a good cause.
Sony will donate $10 for each pink DVD player and walkman it sells. The company says it will donate up to $50,000 to the foundation.
