Windows XP to be Sold through June 2008

windowsxp.jpegMicrosoft will continue selling Windows XP through the middle of next year, despite previous announcements that XP sales would cease on January 2008. Notebook manufacturers will have until then to sell XP machines to those who aren’t ready to migrate to Windows Vista. Microsoft will continue to sell licenses to its customers until June 2008.

According to Microsoft, approximately 20% of Windows systems sold this year shipped with XP.
