Toshiba Recalls 1,400 Notebook Batteries

toshibabattery.jpgToshiba announced today that it’s recalling about 1,400 notebook batteries due to overheating risks. The batteries were manufactured by Sony for Toshiba’s Satellite A100 Satellite A105 and Tecra T7 notebooks.

The company is recalling the batteries because it received three reports of overheating outside of the United States. Consumers whose batteries are part of the recall can contact Toshiba for a free replacement.
