Transcend Announces 16GB ExpressCard SSD

Transcend SSDTranscend announced a series of Solid State Drives (SSD) for ExpressCard/34 slots. With capacities up to 16GB, the ExpressCard SSDs are compatible with Microsoft Vista’s ReadyBoost technology, which speeds up notebooks by caching data on flash drives. Transcend’s new SSDs are bundled with an ExpressCard to USB adapter so you can transfer your data to other computers without ExpressCard slots.

No word on pricing or availability.
