OQO Model 02 Gets Verizon EVDO
OQO will offer its the model 02 computer with integrated EVDO Wireless WAN capability compatible with the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service. OQO says the world’s smallest fully-functional PC will boast download speeds of 400-700 kilobits per second in 242 metro areas.
Customers in the United States will now be able to access email, the Internet, and business and personal applications utilizing Verizon Wireless’ EV-DO BroadbandAccess service powered by the nation’s most reliable high-speed wireless broadband network. Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service provides average download speeds of 400-700 kilobits per second, and is currently available coast to coast covering more than 200 million people in over 242 major metropolitan areas.

i think this will be a great leap for oqo because now customoers get to pick between sprint evdo rev a to verizons evdo network wich works extremely well bringing oqo’s motto , anytime anywere conectivity .verizon is knowe to have the best service voice plan and would be a great partner to how oqo conects to the internet heads up to oqo for chosing verizon .wat i personaly wish for is hsdpa for model 02.hsdpa would be apealing foor most people who dont want another bill at the end of the month like myself .ps oqo kicks ass and is a umpc killer with avengence lol.i cant wate for models 03 from oqo i wonder wat they would have under neath thier sleeves .
