And I’m a PC, I mean VAIO

Sony is trying to put its spin on the popular “I’m a PC, and I’m a Mac” ads. The Australian VAIO C-Series notebook page features a cheesy flash ad where a hip 20-something girl declares she’s a VAIO. When you click on the ad, the uptight business PC guy, the dorky Mac guy and the Vaio girl spin around to show you their rear ends and make some noise. The PC guy honks, the Mac guy says “hey” and the VAIO girl giggles. The text reads “it’s more fun to be a VAIO”.
What’s the message here? “Not only are we trying to make the C series look like a MacBook, we’re also ripping off their ads.”
