Gateway MX6920 $649, Toshiba L35-S261 for $399

Circuit City is offering up a bunch holiday deals on notebooks and electronics right now. The Gateway MX6920 is on sale for $649.99, the Toshiba L35-S261 for $399 after rebate.
The Toshiba Satellite L35-S2161 is a 15.4Ã¢â‚¬ÂÃ‚Â widescreen with Intel Celeron M410 processor,512 MB of RAM, 80GB hard drive and DVD burner. A bit antiquated, but this is a budget notebook.
The Gateway MX6920, which originally sold for $999, includes an Intel Core Duo processor, 120GB drive, double-layer DVD burner and 1 GB if memory.
Circuit City also has blowout prices on HDTVÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s and digital cameras.

On different ocassions I purchased 2 $399 from Office Depot. My advise is forget online buying, forget phone calls to the retailer. I went to the store a 6 AM (store opens at 10) created a line. Several folks came at the same time. Got 1 on the spot. The other they were out o stock, but informed me that another shippment was on the way tomorrow, they reserved it for me and I was the happiest camper with an excellent laptop. Now you know why I am partial to Toshiba

I also went online and no notebooks in an 84 mile radius. I got a email response from circut city, but wasn't happy with the answer. (WE DON'T SELL THEM IN THE STORE, PUT IN YOUR ZIPCODE? Idid) I called the 1800 number and he couldn't give me a store in a state near me that carried the notebook. We ended up going to our local store to ask when and if they were coming in. They had 12 of them behind the counter and you had to get in line to buy it. We got to the store 20 minutes after they opened and they still had 5 after we bought ours.

Try and find the $399 Toshiba. It says in store only. Tryed zip codes from all over and not a single one found. Emailed CC and no response.
