One Laptop Per Child User Interface Demo

The One Laptop Per Child project (OLPC) is working hard to bridge the digital divide and this video walks you through the OLPC’s user interface. The laptop runs on Linux, with simplified menus and navigation. The desktop uses universal icons and is void of dropdown text menus. The OLPC XO-1 comes with Firefox for web browsing, a chat client, RSS reader, word processor and eToys, a multilingual pack of board games and art tools.
