Video Demo: Dell Enables Overclocking on XPS Notebooks
Dell’s lead XPS gaming development engineer walks us through some new XPS 1710 features. He claims a 20% increase in graphics performance over the XPS 1710 thanks to the new NVIDIA 7950 GPU. For extreme gaming, Dell’s enabled overclocking of the machines 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo to 3.16GHz.
Another cool feature is LightFX, a system that allows supported games and iTunes to create light shows with the notebook’s LEDs.
