Yes…More Notebook Battery Recalls
The Sony battery debacle is spreading faster than wildfire (pun definitely intended). Toshiba announced it would recall 830,000 notebook batteries manufactured by Sony, which has set up a global a global replacement program for several million lithium-ion batteries. There will be a major announcement Sony by Monday that may include Sony announcing they are recalling Vaio batteries. You know the drill by now, go to Toshiba’s web site to see if your battery is bad, send it in and wait.
7 million Sony batteries have been recalled since the first images of exploding notebooks showed up.
