Toshiba Notebook Computer Fuel Cells by 2007?

Toshiba plans to sell fuel cells for notebook computers starting in 2008, according to this BBC article. The company demonstrated a 100 ml cartridge powering a Toshiba Portege notebook, that can keep running for 10 hours-about twice what a Li-Ion battery delivers.

The new systems allow for instant recharging, but are still too bulky for consumers. Toshiba and its partners are working to miniaturize all the components. HUGE advantages for those working in remote locations or don’t have somewhere to plug in.

Sounds like a great start, but what about getting these things through airport security?
