PayPal Launches Mobile Payment Service
PayPal Mobile launched a great service that allows users to make payments with their phones. There are a couple of other services that let you pay friends via SMS, but PayPal mobile has a few features that blow the other guys out of the water. After you initiate a payment, either by SMS or voice, PayPal calls you back to confirm the payment and your PIN. The system even says your name for an added level of security. PayPal Mobile will also let you buy stuff you see on commercials, billboards or on the web just by sending a SMS, with Text To Buy! There’s no need for filling out tons of personal info on your mobile’s keypad since PayPal already has your shipping and billing info.
